Blue Chip Dusted is my competition name.
My registered name is Fireblade Dusted and I am a Welsh x New Forest standing at 12.2 hh. I was born in May 2000 so I am 4 years old.
When I was born I was very exited and as soon as I managed to stand up I ran and ran as fast as I could. I was given the name Fireblade because I could run as fast as a Fireblade motorbike.
All my friends now call me Dusted. I look slightly different from my brother ‘Dun’ because I have a white blaze and my brother has a small star which isn’t very noticable.
My colour is Dun, the same as my big brother, which is why we are now called Dun and Dusted. In future, every time you complete a task and say ‘that’s Dun and Dusted’ you just may think of me and my brother.
Before we came to our new home I would just run around my paddock and eat grass with my brother and my friends. However, I now understand many human words and can even pull a carriage with Dun. We travel in the horse box and when we arrive at our destination our harness is put on us and we then pull the carriage around an arena with lots of people watching us. They shout and cheer to us and loud music echos all around. At our first show it was a bit scary but we were very well behaved and we hope the humans will take us again.
