Blue Chip Dynamic used to be my competition name. But now it has been changed to Blue Chip Lami because my sponsor has launched a new feed product called Lami and Light. It is aimed at Good doers who need to keep weight off and to help prevent ponies from getting Laminitis.
My full registered name is Fronbach Catkin and I am a Welsh Section A.
All my friends call me Rose because I have a rose mark on my nose.
I was born in 1988 so I am about 16 years old.
I have a typical Welsh Section A head with bright dark eyes and I stand at 12.2 hh. Before I was taught how to pull a scurry carriage by Jenny and her team I was part of a wedding turnout together with Falcon (Light) and there were four of us. We did look grand!
Facon and I have been competing at Double Harness Scurry for three years now and really enjoy it. I have learned how to sleep at night in the awning and although I did escape out of the side a few times I have stopped doing that now.
My coat is all white and so is my mane and tail. I’m a bit of a madam and I don’t like getting dirty so I usually look my best at all times.
It seems that everybody enjoys riding me because I have a spring in my feet and I like to bounce along. However I do like the men. So at the shows Ron usually grooms me and puts my harness on because I like to give him a cuddle. Ron is the one who drives us at the Scurry competitions. It is so much fun and so different from doing weddings. However, at The Royal there were so many people taking my photo I decided to stop to let them get me into focus. Ron didn’t seem to be very pleased about that though!
